Hand-making Competition Deadline Looms
Hurry, Hand-making Heroes - our handmade gift competition with a £1500 prize - closes to new entries on February 29. You absolutely must get your entry in by then. The competition is open to all UK handmakers / UK hand-made gift items and jewellery.
We have had fewer entries than hoped for so far, though the quality makes up for the quantity. But, it's certainly no lottery at the moment. So, if you have a great product / idea, then you really do stand an excellent chance of winning the £1500 prize.
This is a genuine chance to grab some cash for your business and secure a place in giftware retailer pressies4princesses' product range and the ongoing orders this brings.
See this post: £1500 Prize For Best New Hand-made Gift or go to Hunt for Hand-making Heroes Competition at co-sponsor pressies4princesses for more information on how to enter.
Just a quick heads up to move this back to the top of your agenda and prominence on the blog!

Hi
Whats going on with this, isn't there supposed to be an online public vote of the shortlisted entries?
Yes, sorry for the lack of communication. The competition did actually only close for entries last weekend though. Give us a chance!
Sorry, it just said on the original info about the competition that shortlisted entries would be put up for an online public vote on or before 1st March.
So will it only be the shortlisted people and whoever they tell that get to see?
Whoops - you're right, but I think that was a typo. Sorry. I mean, if we didn't close the competition until midnight 29th Feb, getting a shortlist up by 1 March (at the latest!) is going to be a touch call.
We have corrected the page now. The voting will be up by 31 March and it will be public - ie open to all and publicised on www.pressies4princesses.co.uk and www.pretty-somethings.co.uk.
Sorry for any confusion caused!
Steve
